Therapydia DC is part of Therapydia, a national network of physical therapy clinics that emphasizes the use of manual physical therapy to better patient outcomes. At Therapydia DC, manual therapy is the foundation of all treatments and we will incorporate a variety of treatment methods including high speed video analysis and functional movement screens to tailor a plan just for your needs and lifestyle. Therapydia physical therapists are chosen through a selective screening process. Every physical therapist has extensive clinical experience, is highly trained in a variety of wellness practices and is driven by patient outcomes.

Dr. Joanne Gribler, PT, DPT is a native of Dayton, Ohio. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Health Science from the University of Cincinnati, OH, where she was a 2-year Division I athlete for Cross Country and Track and Field. After sustaining injuries that precluded her from competing, she hung up her running shoes and picked up a swim cap – walking on and receiving a spot on the University of Cincinnati’s Division I Swimming and Diving team, where she participated for her remaining two years. Upon graduating in 2010, Dr. Gribler went on to obtain her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Mount St. Joseph University in Cincinnati. Dr. Gribler joined us in June, 2016 from Houston, TX, where she worked on rehabilitating injured service members from the U.S. Coast Guard. She is currently working toward her Functional Dry Needling certification and intends on pursuing her certificate in manual therapy immediately thereafter. An avid runner, swimmer, and biker, Dr. Gribler can be seen in and around the Capital region training for triathlons and marathons.

Dr. Jane Kruszewski, PT, DPT, ATC, CSCS is from Michigan and attended the University of Michigan where she received her Bachelor’s of Science in Athletic Training. There she worked with many of the sports teams including Volleyball, Softball, Men’s Tennis, Football, Women’s Soccer and Track and Field. Dr. Kruszewski then went on to George Washington University here in Washington DC to obtain her Doctor of Physical Therapy. She is a Certified Athletic Trainer, a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the NSCA, a Certified Pilates Instructor through Balanced Body Pilates and is Level 1 and 2 Functional Dry Needling certified through KinetaCore. Dr. Kruszewski continues to be active in playing many sports, practicing yoga and running, and is starting a program in the Fall to receive her 200-RYT certification to teach yoga. She has a lot of experience working with higher level patients through her work with collegiate and high school athletic teams, the Marine Corps and Navy but enjoys working with patients of all activity levels as well as patients who would like to become more active. She believes in the importance of helping patients understand their condition and understand how physical therapy is helping them achieve their goals in order to encourage them to be more motivated and involved with their own recovery.

Dr. Margaret Pittman is a Maryland native and completed her undergraduate work at Towson University with a double major in Exercise Science and Spanish. She then moved to Los Angeles to pursue her Doctorate degree in physical therapy at the top-ranked University of Southern California. The desire to be close to her family on the East Coast summoned her back to begin her career in the D.C. Metro area where she has practiced in outpatient neurologic, orthopedic, and inpatient/acute PT care. She is a licensed PT in Washington D.C., Maryland, and Virginia and has completed advanced training in manual therapy, custom orthotics casting, and trigger point dry needling. Margaret completed the Jackson Clinics Orthopedic Residency in 2013 and became a Board Certified Orthopedic Specialist in 2014 which allowed her to further develop her passion for treating musculoskeletal conditions across the lifespan.

Dr. Rob Rogacki hails from Lansing, Michigan and is a proud graduate of the University of Michigan, where he received his Bachelors of Science in Movement Science. He moved to D.C. in 2010, and attended George Washington University, where he earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy. After working with many high level clients, including professional athletes from the NFL, MLB, and Olympics, during his clinical internships, he worked in an outpatient orthopedic setting with patients of all ages in Bethesda, MD. He furthered his education with the McKenzie Institute, and received his certification in Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy (Cert. MDT) through McKenzie in 2016.

You Are Covered

Therapydia DC works with and provides billing for most PPO insurance groups including Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Humana and Medicare. For clients with out-of-network benefits, most PPO’s will pay a portion of treatment charges with a prescription from a physician. We will assist you in submitting a superbill to your insurance and you will receive reimbursement directly from them. We update our plans frequently so contact us to get more information about your physical therapy insurance coverage. We also accept cash-based payments.
